Police are appealing for any witnesses to a road traffic collision on New Forest Way in Middleton on Monday evening (4 November 2019).
The incident happened at 5:30pm, when pedestrian 75 year old Kath Bichard was hit by a reversing silver coloured Vauxhall Vivaro van.
Kath suffered a serious head injury and sadly died from her injuries on Wednesday evening (6 November).
Detective Sergeant Fiona Allan of the Major Collision Enquiry Team, said:
“I am appealing for anyone who saw the incident and / or who may have dash cam footage of the incident to come forward.
“Kath’s family have released a picture of her.”
