Through the Maze opens a new information and advice centre for people in Leeds with learning disabilities.
Through the Maze is an information and sign posting service for adults with learning disabilities that has been running for over 20 years.
For the last three years they have been based in Hunslet, but have recently moved to new offices at the Sugar Mill Business Park in Beeston, just off Dewsbury Road near the Tommy Wass pub.
On Monday 21 January Through the Maze would like to invite everyone in Leeds who would like to know more about services, accessible events and activities in Leeds for people with learning disabilities to join them at their open day.
Luke Beaumont one of the advisors at Through the Maze said:
“We are always looking to make the Through the Maze services more accessible to people. Our new offices are a much more comfortable, friendly and welcoming.
“The open day is a chance for people to look round the new modern offices. There will also be a chance for people to find out more about the Through the Maze Ask Us – Drop In, as well as meet some of the Pass it On People. They are a group of people with learning disabilities who go out and review services and events for accessibility.
“All of the team here at Through the Maze are looking forward to welcoming people into our new offices to find out what is available for people in Leeds with learning disabilities.”
The Through the Maze open day is on Monday 21 January 2019 between 11am-2pm at Unit 42, Sugar Mill Business Park, Oakhurst Avenue, Leeds, LS11 7DF.
