Join us for our regular new News Cafe in Beeston.
The News Cafe is a very simple idea: volunteers from South Leeds Life will be in the cafe and happy to talk to you about what’s going on locally. It’s not so much a debating society, more a chance for you to tell us about stories that you would like to see South Leeds Life cover. We can also offer advice and support if you would like to write yourself, or about blogging and using social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc) yourself.
We’ll be at Brew Coffee Shop on Beeston Road every Thursday morning between 10am and 12pm. Pop in for a chat about the local news, tips on writing, blogging and social media. We’ll even treat you to a cup of tea!
We also run a News Cafe in Belle Isle every Friday morning at BITMOs GATE centre, on Aberfield Gate, off Belle Isle Road.
