Holbeck Together is running a course to help you develop your online and digital skills in their digital hub.
The weekly sessions run through January and February every Thursday afternoon, 1:30-4pm at St Matthew’s Community Centre, LS11 9NR.
It all starts on Thursday (11 January 2024) with a session looking at getting online and using the internet safely. That’s followed by setting up an email account; using the NHS app; setting up and using WhatsApp and texting to send messages and pictures from your phone.
Further sessions in February explore online shopping, including Amazon, EBay and PayPal; apps that might be useful and helpful to you; taking and saving digital photographs.
Then in March you’ll learn to use the Ancestry.com website to research your family history and build a family tree.
Places are limited and booking is essential so call the office on (0113) 245 5553 or email sean@holbecktogether.org to book your place.

South Leeds Life is published by a not-for-profit social enterprise. We keep our costs as low as possible but we’ve been hit by increases in the print costs for our monthly newspaper which have doubled in the last two years.
