Hi, I’m Sam Greaves and I am the new Sergeant for Team Three of Holbeck Neighbourhood Policing Team. I am currently in my 12th year of Police service and started off my working life in Huddersfield. Since then I have enjoyed time in the Traffic and Firearms departments and also in the Crime division and I returned to Holbeck in November 2011 as part of the response team.
I really enjoy uniformed policing and am looking forward to being involved in the local community. I am extrememly pleased to be at Holbeck as it covers such a diverse area and I am already impressed by the actions of the Neighbourhood Policing Team. I feel that they are making a very positive impact on the local community and I am looking forward to being a part of this.
My main driving force is that I really dislike crime and anti-social behaviour and how it affects peoples lives. I have lots of plans for future operations which have been derived from issues that have been raised at local PACT meetings. I look forward to meeting as many local residents as possible over the coming months and to being part of such a successful and committed team.
