A brand-new dance academy has officially opened its doors in Beeston, bringing exciting opportunities for young dancers and performers across the city.
Xplosion Dance Academy, based at XDA Studios, Unit 9 Enterprise Park, Moorhouse Avenue, LS11 8HA, has recently launched its new premises and is now welcoming new members of all abilities.
The academy offers a wide range of performance-based dance styles including Pom Dance, Hip Hop, Lyrical Dance and Majorettes, providing students with the opportunity to build confidence, learn new skills and perform at competitions and events.
Designed to be an energetic and inspiring environment, Xplosion Dance Academy aims to help dancers develop technique, teamwork and stage presence while having fun and meeting new friends.
The academy caters for dancers from age 5 through to adults, with both recreational and competitive opportunities available.
Alongside dance training, the premises also host Beatboxing Dance Fitness, a high-energy fitness class that combines music, rhythm and movement to create an exciting and engaging workout suitable for all fitness levels.
Owner and founder Ryan Sargent said the new academy is focused on building a strong dance community in Leeds.
“We wanted to create a space where dancers of all abilities can come together, train, perform and enjoy dance in a supportive environment. Opening our own studio has allowed us to expand what we offer and we’re really excited to welcome new members.”
Since opening, the academy has already begun building competitive teams and preparing dancers for upcoming performances and competitions to which it has already had several first places awarded at national competitions.
Xplosion Dance Academy is currently actively recruiting new dancers, and beginners are very welcome. Anyone interested in joining, learning more about classes, or trying dance for the first time is encouraged to get in touch.
