On Saturday 9 June PCSO Mark Edkins from the Business Crime Reduction Unit attended at Middleton Railway Trust to apply Smart water to property after recent thefts.
The volunteers at Middleton Railway Trust have been working with the Business Crime Reduction Centre and PCSO Edkins in an attempt to reduce the theft from the site. The smart water is now in place and can be used to convict people found in possession of stolen metal from the site.
Middleton Railway Trust is a small charity run by volunteers.
