The Annual Carols in the Circus, tree lighting and Village lights took place yesterday in the Middleton Park Circus of shops, writes Deacon Al Henry.
Four school choirs sang out lustily on this freezing cold Wednesday afternoon. Switching on the lights was ward councillor Kim Groves as she led the children in a countdown.
The next Carols in the Circus will be at Belle Isle Circus Roundabout today at 3:15pm where Low Road and Windmill School will lead the community carol singing. All are welcome.
