Once again the Annual Craft, Flower and Produce Show will kick off with an enthusiastic blast.
Now in its fifth year the event is artfully run and organised by the Friends of Middleton Park.
This is a fantastic opportunity for the whole community to come together and share their gardening, growing and creative talents. Everyone big and small, old and young is encouraged to participate, you don’t have to be great at what you do, just enthusiastic.
If you wish to participate all you need to do is bring along your entries at 8.30am on Sunday 14th September. Special guest, Geoff Driver will award prizes to winners across a range of categories, from best beetroot, to biscuits and bunting.
The show opens to the public at 1pm and is a brilliant opportunity for people to showcase and celebrate their gardening, baking and artistic achievements at a time when such pastimes have never been so popular. You will also be able to enjoy and appreciate the new state-of-the-art visitors centre and see all the recent improvements to the park.
There will be entertainment and hands on activities and displays for all the family on the day, including pony rides, a miniature railway, have-a-go-Zumba and live music. A variety of food and refreshments will also be available.
Come and support your community whilst having a wonderful day out in the park.
