Man jailed for life for murder of Darren Leach

A man has been jailed for life after being convicted of the murder of Darren Leach in Leeds.

William Joyce, aged 38, of Woodview Terrace, Beeston, was unanimously found guilty of murder and theft last Friday following a trial at Leeds Crown Court.

He appeared again today (12 November 2025) before the court where he was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 25 years.

As we reported last week, Joyce was convicted of the murder of Darren Leach at his house on Marsden Grove in Beeston last March.
