Life Drawing class at St Luke’s Church

Life Drawing in church? Whatever next?

On Thursday 25 February 2016, St Luke’s Church is the venue for a fun and informal life drawing session, hosted by talented Beeston-based artist & life drawing tutor Claire Bentley-Smith.

The session runs from 6pm to 8pm, and will be a chance to come and try out drawing and painting in relaxed, no-pressure surroundings. It’s suitable for all abilities, so don’t worry if you’ve not even picked up a pencil since school, because Claire can give you as much or as little tuition as you’d like!

Drawing materials, paper & boards will be provided but feel free to bring your own materials if you have a preferred medium. The class is free, although donations would be welcomed towards cost of materials.

Light refreshments will be available, but feel free to bring your own drinks and snacks to keep your creativity fuelled.

At the moment the Life Drawing class is a one-off event, but if it’s a success and there’s a demand, the organisers may look to run regular sessions in the future.

St Lukes Church, Holbeck is a thriving and welcoming church which serves the communities of Beeston Hill, Holbeck and Holbeck Moor. It is also a Community Organisation, which is home to various local community groups and activities. The church can be found on Malvern Road, LS11 8PD.

If you need more information about the life drawing class, please check out the Facebook Event on St Luke’s Church’s Facebook page & the event organisers will try to respond to any posts.
