The project aims to support folks across South Leeds enjoy crafting together, getting creative and spreading joy through their neighbourhoods – improving wellbeing for all in the process. Register with Your Space by Wednesday 2 December 2020 for your free craft pack with helpful ideas, resources and instructions for easy, fun and festive homemade decorations.
In addition to this you can join free online craft-alongs on Zoom, seasonal walks and more with support from the Your Space team and other community services including Leeds City Council, Holbeck Together, Manorfield Hall and more. Keep your eye on the South Leeds Winter Wonderland Facebook group for further details.
Community wellbeing development workers Arlie and Anne say:
“Winter can be a difficult time for many with the financial pressures of Christmas and the shorter, darker days – and that’s without a pandemic to contend with! Often it’s these small things we do together that help keep us smiling, so we’re super excited to help spread some festive fun as we come to the end of the year. ”
