My name is Michelle and I am a volunteer for Doris Banham Dog Rescue. I live in Belle Isle.
I have arranged a charity Ladies Night to raise some much needed funds and awareness for our charity. We will also be offering advise on responsible dog ownership and health and behavioural issues on the night too and also answering any other dog/rescue related questions that arise.

We take any dog from the council pounds that are going to be put to sleep, we don’t worry about breed, temperament or health as we believe every dog deserves a second chance and sometimes these dogs we take have been very badly abused and neglected.
The charity event is on the 7th November and will be held at Hunslet Carr Sports and social club, Moor Road, Leeds 10.
Doors open at 7pm and show starts approx 8.30pm. The night consists of male entertainers, drag queens and comedy (see Poster) We will be holding a raffle and have a meal for two, a pamper basket and a free haircut and blow dry/colour to be won. Tickets cost £20 each with proceeds going to the rescue.
