Giant teddy bears, whales and dragons will be filling the skies over South Leeds this weekend (25 & 26 May 2019) as the Kite Festival returns to Middleton Park.
The free event is organised by the Friends of Middleton Park and the Northern Kite Group and takes place on The Clearings from 10am to 4pm each day. They will be joined by The Kite Workshop on Sunday (who charge a small fee).
Some refreshments, but no toilets are available on The Clearings, but the café in the Visitor Centre is just a ten minute walk away. Car parking is available at the Visitor Centre (off Town Street); Middleton Park Circus; the Leeds Urban Bike Park (Middleton Ring Road); and the John Charles Centre For Sport (Middleton Grove) – see map.
