BasementArtsProject are working with artist Ian Pepper and Vale Circles to present a drawing, collage, and writing workshop on Wednesday 28 September at Vale Circles, Tunstall Road, Beeston. Ian staged an exhibition entitled A Feast of Beeston at BasmentArtsProject back in April of this year and will be returning to direct this workshop with members of the community here in South Leeds.
There are six places available to members of the community in South Leeds for this event and it will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. As places are limited please be sure that you can attend before signing up.
Those that attend the workshop will be asked to bring along a photograph of a family member, themselves or an object of significance from their life. The nature of the workshop will be to do with autobiography and creating a portrait.
No previous experience in art is required as there will be something to suit every ability in this day long workshop that will involve drawing, collage and writing.
