The agenda for the next meeting of the Inner South Community Committee, made up of the nine Councillors for our three wards: Beeston & Holbeck, Hunslet & Riverside and Middleton Park, has been published. The meeting, which is open to the public, is taking place at The Welcome Centre, Saint John and Saint Barnabas Church, Belle Isle Road, LS10 3DN on Wednesday 28 February 2024 starting at 1pm.
The meeting starts with an Open Forum, this is an opportunity for members of the public to ask questions or raise issues directly with their Councillors.
The committee is also responsible some Council functions in the area such as street cleaning and youth services; and it manages a well-being budget that funds large and small projects and the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) Neighbourhood Fund. Projects under consideration at this meeting include:

- Church Street – Communal Fencing improvements additional works
- Hamara Cross Flatts FC – Community Engagement Project
- South Leeds Allstars Expansion/Growth

- Hunslet Community Festival
- DAZL Inner South Dance & Theatre Programme 2024
- Leeds Wood Recycling Work Experience Programme
- Brett Gardens – Fencing and Environmental Work
- Royal’s Estate – Staggered Barriers x8
- Rise & Shine Youth Provision (St Luke’s CARES)
- Ash Tree Sculpture (Friends of Cross Flatts Park)
- Breeze in the Park 2024
- Kidz Klub Residentials
