South Leeds Stadium, the home of the Hunslet Hawks, will play host to the “Festival of World Cups” over the month of July.
England and Wales are hosting the Rugby League World Cup 2013 and these events form part of the celebrations.
The Hawks will host both the Student and the Women’s World Cups, starting with the Student World Cup ‘Super Sunday’ on Sunday 7th July. This will see four matches played at the stadium on the day, starting at 12pm as Scotland take on Russia and finishing with England versus Wales at 6:30pm.
On Saturday July 13th, the Women’s World cup will take centre stage with the 3rd Place Playoff taking place at 6:00pm.
This is a great opportunity for the community of South Leeds to support the Rugby World Cup in 2013!
Tickets for the each date are only £5 for Adults and Under 16’s are FREE. That’s four games of Student Rugby League in one day for only £5!!
The Phoenix Suite (Hunslet Hawks Supporters Bar) will be open on both days serving refreshments.
Sunday 7th July – Student World Cup – Adults: £5 Under 16’s FREE
- 12.00pm Scotland v Russia
- 2.00pm Australia v New Zealand
- 4.30pm South Africa v Ireland
- 6.30pm England v Wales
Saturday 13th July – Women’s World Cup – Adults: £5 Under 16’s FREE
