The new myrtle, flame and white home shirt of the Hunslet Hawks will be officially unveiled on the evening of Thursday 17 December 2015, in the presence of the 2016 Club Sponsors.
Students from The South Leeds Academy worked on designs for the shirt and a shortlist of six were put to a public vote.
Hawks Community Director Peter Todd said:
“The designer of the winning entry will be invited to meet the players at the official Kit Launch, along with the runners up in the competition. We are also planning further collaborative work with the Academy, which we hope to announce in the near future.”
The “home” shirt will be unveiled on the website as soon as it has been approved by the Rugby Football League and it will be available to purchase on the night, with the price held again at £42.
The “away” shirt, in chocolate & white, will be announced after it has received approval – possibly not until after Christmas.
All supporters are invited to the launch event, which takes place in the Phoenix Lounge, 7:30pm start with no admission charge. Light refreshments will be served.
