Leeds City Council asking young people what activities they would to see in their neighbourhood.
The online survey is open all 8-17 year olds living in Leeds and will be used to help shape the programme delivered by Youth Services and their partner organisations.
Councillor Andrew Scopes (Beeston & Holbeck) told South Leeds Life:
“This questionnaire has been put together to help us engage with young people and find out what activities they would like to see in the Inner South area. We’re keen to direct funding towards projects young people want to see and this is a key element of hearing from them. Our decisions will be massively influenced by what young people want, sadly we’re not young enough to just know that!”
You can find the questionnaire, which should take no more than five minutes to complete, here: surveys.leeds.gov.uk/s/C5COZ. The deadline to complete the survey is Monday 4 March 2019.
Not enough for the Youth’s of Holbeck, I mean those who live in Holbeck around the Holbeck Moor area as the Managed Zone, Sex Workers are always about, would be nice to see them play in safety, sounds like something in a Political way, but not, really we could do with something to help them want to play outside now the nice weather is coming, pity the Sex Workers have taken priority !!! a community project or two to encourage the younger ones to feel same in what they call home !!!
