Members of St Mary’s church in Beeston invited the members of the Asha Neighbourhood Project back to do baking with them as a thank you for cooking curries with them (as South Leeds Life reported here).
Asha members were inspired by Nadiya Hussain a British baker, columnist, author and television presenter who rose to fame after winning the sixth series of BBC’s The Great British Bake Off in 2015. They asked the members who were experienced in baking to teach them.
