Holbeck residents are getting the opportunity to have their pets’ health checked by the PDSA on Monday (9 June 2014).
When money is tight family pets can suffer as the vet bills become unaffordable. The PDSA (People’s Dispensary for Sick Animals) provides free veterinary care to the sick and injured pets of people in need and promotes responsible pet ownership.
PDSA are holding a Pet Check event outside Holbeck Community Centre, Elland Road on Monday 9 June, from 10am to 5pm. On board their specially designed vehicle, wellbeing nurses will give free wellbeing checks to dogs and offer advice on the care of other popular pets.
