BITMO (Belle Isle Tenant Management Organisation) is again providing free English and Maths tutoring for Year 4 and 5 pupils this new school year and are holding an open session on Tuesday (12 September 2023) 3:30-5:30pm to launch the new term.
Parents, schools and the children themselves have all spoken highly of the tutoring last year and the progress regular attenders have made. If your child is in Year 6, but working at a Year 4 or 5 level they may be able to take part.
Classes are at BITMO’s GATE on Tuesdays from 4.15-6pm. There are three experienced primary school teachers present each time, supported by volunteer assistants.
There is a free meal served from 3:30pm, so children can eat before the lesson and your whole family is also welcome to attend and eat. Meals are served to family members and any other Belle Isle tenants until 5:30pm.
You are invited to an open session on Tuesday 12 September from 3:30–5:30pm, where you can meet the tutors and ask about the tutoring or any of the arrangements. The lessons will begin the following week, Tuesday 19 September. Priority given to children of BITMO tenants.
