Finding sanctuary at Leeds Dock

Leeds Sanctuary, the Methodist Church in the city centre, is organising regular social events in and around Leeds Dock.

A monthly lunchtime Wellbeing Walk is a chance to get some fresh air and stretch you legs in good company. You’re invited to come solo or in your team, bring your lunch and meet at Armouries Square at 12:30pm for an hour’s walk. Walks take place on Thursday 9 and 23 November 2023 and will go ahead come rain or shine, so dress for the weather.

The Saturday Sanctuary provides a relaxed space to start your weekend. You’ll find newspapers and board games, coffee and pastries. It’s a great place to meet your neighbours. The next event takes place on Saturday 25 November, 10am-12pm at The Glass Box on Leeds Dock, LS10 1PZ.

If you faciy a faith filled discussion whilst enjoying a drink, get along to Views on the Dock. It’s a chance to share and be heard and join the big conversations. Monday 13 November, 7:30pm in The Canary, The Dockside, LS10 1EG.

Everyone is welcome at these sessions especially if you live or work at Leeds Dock or on the Riverside.
