The Friends of New Forest Village are planning a summer event and they need your help.
They are planning a Family Fun Day on Sunday 21st July on the playing fields between Waggon Road and St George’s Centre. The organisers promise competitions, stalls, demonstrations and more! The event will run from 2-5pm.
Volunteers are invited to get involved in organising in advance or on the day. You can also donate items for the tombola.
If you would like to have a stall at the Fun Day please email margaret@readyplanted.com. Stalls are 3m x 3m and cost £20 plus a prize for the tombola.
The Friends also hold general meetings to discuss issues relevant to the residents of New Forest and Heritage Villages. The next meetings will be on 9th July, 21st August and 21st October. You’ll find details of these meetings in the South Leeds Life Events Calendar.
You can contact the Friends and keep up to date with developments as follows:

Superb idea.
Not sure why its referred to as Village – the new housing development is massive.
The location has now changed to the Sharp Lane School Playing Fields.
