Drugs, cash and weapons seized by Police at Beeston house

Officers from the South Leeds Neighbouhood Policing Team executed a warrant under the misuse of drugs act at an address in Burlington Road, Beeston on Monday (13 November 2023).

In a post on Facebook, the team reported that they had seized a significant amount of suspected Class A drugs, cash and weapons.

Four people were arrested from the address for being concerned in the supply of class A drugs and possession of offensive weapons in a private place.

The report continued:

“Enquiries are currently ongoing and charges are currently being sought. A closure order is also being sought in relation to the property.”

South Leeds Life understands that the team delayed enforcing the warrant in order to gather extra intelligence as to the best timing of the operation in order to make the biggest impact on the individuals involved.
