The latest Speak To The Streets Breakdance Battle took place on Sunday 17th of March, as you can see from the photo slideshow above (and Part 2 here) scores of children and young people from across South Leeds and the city came and had a fantastic time, showing off breathtaking dance skills.
The Hunslet Club was also suprised, pleased & honoured to receive the Speak To The Streets Community Award 2013 for Best Youth Club.
We are very pleased to host these Breakdance Battles and collaborate with Speak To The Streets on their delivery.” explains Jason Slack from the Hunslet Club. “Their message is an extremely powerful and positive one, they also give young people who attend our beginner breakdance classes something amazing to aspire to watching such talent on display in their own club.”
