ISSE Ltd is proud to announce that Beeston Royal Tigers Vets FC have been crowned Champions, marking a major milestone for a football project that is about far more than trophies – it is about bringing communities together through sport.
Founded and delivered by ISSE Ltd (Inspire Support Sports Empower), the Beeston Royal Tigers project was created to provide a positive, inclusive platform for men from diverse backgrounds to connect, stay active and build friendships across Leeds and Bradford.
The team’s championship success reflects not only their ability on the pitch, but also the strength of the community spirit that surrounds them.
Komar Uddin, Manager of Beeston Royal Tigers Vets FC, said:
“This team represents more than football. It represents unity, respect and togetherness. From day one, we set out to build a family, not just a squad – and this championship shows what is possible when people come together with belief, discipline and heart.”
The project has become a powerful example of how football can be used to strengthen relationships between communities, tackle isolation and promote positive role models.
Humayun Islam, Director of ISSE Ltd, added:
“Beeston Royal Tigers Vets FC is exactly what ISSE stands for – empowering people through sport and building stronger communities. This championship is a proud moment, but the real victory is seeing people from different backgrounds coming together, supporting each other and feeling part of something bigger.”
ISSE Ltd continues to use football as a tool for social inclusion, wellbeing and community cohesion, and the success of Beeston Royal Tigers Vets FC highlights the impact that grassroots, community-led sport can have.
For ISSE Ltd and the Beeston Royal Tigers, this is only the beginning.
