Groundwork, the environmental charity, is giving away 80,000 daffodil bulbs to brighten schools, verges and community centres across Leeds.
Community groups with an idea for a piece of land they would like to plant up are invited to apply, but you need to hurry, the closing date is Friday 4 September 2015. Groups can apply for between 500 – 1,000 bulbs and must supply a map of where they are to be planted.
Groundwork has been supported by a 50% grant from Leeds City Council’s Parks & Countryside department.
