The Hunslet Club Gala took place on Sunday July 15th and was attended by well over a thousand people from South Leeds on what was a rare day of sunshine this summer! The day was a fantastic example of the community spirit at the club. Thanks to everyone who performed, volunteered,

Poor old Belle from Belle Isle was a stray dog that locals had reported seeing over the past four months. Dog wardens were this week able to coax the greyhound into their care with steak after reports of the dog wandering the Newhall Road area of Belle Isle starting coming in,
A fun day out for all the family is promised at the 2012 Middleton Gala tomorrow. The annual event promises entertainment, music and stalls and lots more. it will be held at Middleton Primary School and runs from 11am-2pm. See the poster above for more.
An appeal’s gone out to help find a lost family dog called Bailey. The small Yorkshire Terrier, which hails from the LS10 area, has a red collar. His owners are said to be heartbroken. If you have any information, contact them on 0741 3497790. More details here.
