Police are appealing for information following an incident in which a taxi driver was assaulted after his vehicle was allegedly damaged.
The incident happened between 10.30pm and 10.45pm on Friday 3 August outside the Engine Pub, close to the junction of Moor Road and Old Run Road in Hunslet.
The 51-year-old victim was assaulted after he stopped his taxi believing a group of youths were responsible for damaging his vehicle.
In the assault the victim was hit with a bottle causing cuts to his face and was taken to Leeds General Infirmary.
The suspect is described as a white male, slim build wearing a blue t-shirt and jeans.
