Calling all young women and girls in Leeds

Leeds will be holding its very first Young Women and Girls Forum on Thursday (3 August 2017) from 1:30-3:30pm at First Floor on St Peter’s Square, and the invitation is open to any women or girl aged 13-17 years old, living in Leeds.

Do you have something to say about being a young women or girl in Leeds? Do you want to have your say about the issues affecting you and your friends? Do want to help provide better opportunities and services for young women and girls? Do you have ideas on how we can do this?

Whether you are passionate about an issue affecting you, or you just want to come along to hear what other young women and girls have got to say, then this is for you!

The Forum will give all young women and girls in Leeds opportunities to contribute to strategic decision making in the city and to influence and shape services for young women and girls in Leeds.

It will drive forward the priorities for women and girls as identified by young women and girls and make an active contribution towards the vision for Leeds to be “The Best City”.

It is free to attend the event, refreshments will be provided. Expect to meet other young women and girls from Leeds and take part in fun, interactive activities!
