Want to kick start the Easter break? Breeze Friday Night Project are hosting a Family Funday at Middleton Leisure Centre on Saturday 1 April 2017, 1-4pm. There will be activities for everyone, from BMX Bikes, a football tournament, Breeze inflatables, beauty therapy, arts and crafts and soft play for tiny tots, or just come and enjoy a cuppa and a piece of cake with Aspire and have a mosey round the market stalls, offering local information and selling homemade wares.
For adults there will be women’s only rounders, walking football and a taster ‘Couch to 5k’ running session;
The South Leeds Lakers will be delivering a taster Couch to 5k session for absolute beginners – whether your returning from injury or you haven’t done any exercise in years this is your chance to try out a programme that has been successful for thousands of people nationwide. Created in conjunction with NHS professionals. The NHS Couch to 5K plan is designed to get you off the couch and gradually work you up to running 5K or for half an hour, in just nine weeks. We are limited to 12 session spaces so contact Ben to book your place: ben@runleeds.co.uk
Love to play Football?
As part of the Fun Day we are running a 5 a side football tournament. You don’t have to be part of a football group or team, groups of friends are welcome to join too.
We have 3 different age category in the tournament (please take note of the ages) – if you are interested in entering a team please contact Laura in the Breeze Team on (0113) 378 3167 to secure your place

The Breeze Friday Night project runs every Friday evening in term time at Middleton Leisure Centre. 6-7:30pm for 8-11 year olds; 7:30-9pm for 11-18 year olds.
Saturday’s event has been organised by LCC’s Breeze Team, working in partnership LCC’s Sport and Recreation, Positive Futures, Youth Service and Aspire.
