The folks from the Voice of Holbeck Group have held their November meeting to discuss matters connected to their community.
The meeting discussed problems with litter in the area – and agreed to support an initiative that will see local groups club together to help to pay for litter bins alongside the council. Problems with an overflowing bin yard were raised.
Other issues discussed included prostitution and the work to reduce the problems in the area and planning permission for a new sandwich shop. An appeal from Holbeck in Bloom for sponsors for hanging baskets was also heard.
