A unique opportunity to see inside the historic Carlsberg Tetley headquarters building in Hunslet before it is transformed into a contemporary art gallery in 2013 is one of the highlights of this year’s Heritage Open Days.
Building owners across Leeds play a full part in this national event by opening – with free admission – buildings rarely open to the public, while experts lead walks and tours introducing people to many different aspects of the heritage of our district.
There will also be a guided history tour of Holbeck amongst other events.
Full details of all the events across the city – which are pro moted by Leeds Civic Trust – can be found on the Heritage Open Days website.
