Temple Mill on Marshall Street in Holbeck, Hunslet Mill on Goodman Street in Hunslet and Holbeck Conservation Area are all falling into decay, according to a report in today’s YEP.
The three landmark sites have been identified as ‘at risk’ in the largest-ever research project into the condition of England’s industrial heritage.
English Heritage has now launched a national five-point action plan to help developers, owners, charities and community rescue groups keep buildings safe.
Earlier this month, South Leeds Life revealed how Holbeck’s Temple Mill building was on the Victorian Society’s ‘at risk’ register.
