It’s the Great Middleton Park Show on Sunday (8 September 2024) and that doesn’t just mean juicy jams and scrumptious cakes in the produce show. this year you can also get your bike fixed.
The Big Bike Fix Leeds project have confirmed that they will be running a bike-fixing station at the Show between 1pm-4pm. Bring your broken bikes, and they’ll do what they can to get them running again, for free.
They’ll have a full array of tools, and generic spare parts. But if your bike needs a specialist part, please buy it and bring it with you, to maximise your chances of getting sorted.
So bring your bike down and help get it fixed.
As well as the wonders of the Produce Show, which you can enter on the day, the Friends of Middleton Park promise birds of prey, donkeys, DJ Danny running children’s fun and an array of interesting stalls. It all takes place around the lake, visitor centre and bandstand from 1-4pm on Sunday.
Please note their is limited parking which is for blue badge holders only. Please walk or use public transport if you can. If you do drive consider using the car parks at Leeds Urban Pike Park and John Charles Centre for Sport and if you park on a local road be considerate to residents.
