Beeston man charged with robbery

Police investigating a robbery in Rothwell have charged a man in relation to the matter.

Duane Cale, aged 40, of Cardinal Road in Beeston, has been charged with the offence which occurred at business premises in May, after being arrested by police in Leeds yesterday (25 July 2024).

He was also charged with a burglary in Castleford and is due to appear before magistrates in Leeds today.

Cale was previously the subject of a wanted appeal.
