Beeston man charged after burglary

Police have charged a man in connection with a burglary in Leeds.

Jamie Hegarty, 23 of Woodlea Mount, Beeston has been charged with a commercial burglary, theft of a motor vehicle and theft from a motor vehicle. Hegarty was previously the subject of a wanted appeal from West Yorkshire Police.

He’s been remanded into custody and was due to appear at Leeds Magistrates this morning (5 August 2023).
