Beeston in Bloom get the bunting up to mark D day anniversary

Beeston in Bloom don’t really need an excuse to hang bunting, we just love the how it cheers up Beeston Road. However, we think the 80th anniversary of the D Day landings should be commemorated.

It was an added bonus that the sun was shining on Sunday (2 June 2024) and our efforts were met with appreciation from passers-by. Hopefully the display will remain in tact and be part of our judging route for Yorkshire in Bloom in July. We hope you like it.
