On Tuesday 2nd September BasementArtsProject will be opening the penultimate show for 2025 by Jay Gadhia
दर्शन or in English Darshan is the act of seeing and being seen
In an era that is becoming consumed by the politics of identity ‘Darshan’ is about slowing down to reconnect with the essence of what it means to be human. This is not about who we think we are but about who we actually are. In ‘Darshan’ the visual encounter with the artefact becomes a transformative experience for the beholder.
