Cockburn hosts Foundation’s primary football tournament

Hunslet Rugby Foundation ran a football tournament on 29 Nivember for six of the primary schools they work with at Cockburn School’s all weather pitch. The schools taking part were: Clapgate, Low Road, Middleton St Mary’s, Strawberry Fields, Westwood and Windmill. Each school played four matches in a round robin.

Cottingley Primary collects 500 meals for foodbank

Cottingley Primary Academy turned one Christmas tradition on its head this year by organising a reverse advent calendar. Throughout December the school asked children and staff across school to bring in an item each day to donate to the foodbank if they were able to, rather than receiving something. And
