Detectives are appealing for witnesses following a stabbing in Leeds last night.
The incident happened on Holbeck Moor off Top Moor Side playing fields, where the fair was being held.
Officers were called just after 9pm on Saturday (21 September 2019) to reports of a male being seriously injured.
A 27-year-old man was taken to hospital via ambulance for treatment. He remains in hospital at this time, in a serious but stable condition. His injuries are consistent with stab wounds.
There is a large police cordon in place in the area whilst officers continue with their investigation including forensic examination of the area and CCTV enquiries.
Enhanced high visibility patrols have been deployed in the area to reassure the local residents.
