Voluntary Action Leeds, the Hunslet-based umbrella body for community and charity groups in the city, have announced their new, up-to-date, refurbished meetings and events space – bookable for meetings, training sessions, away-days and more.
The meeting rooms are modern and affordable with their own unique touches. In keeping with VAL’s traditions of supporting charities around Leeds, each room is named after an area in the city. All income earnt is put back into supporting small groups and charities in Leeds.
The meeting rooms range in sizes and can seat up to 40 people. All rooms include either a projector and screen, or smart TV – and several are set up for Skype meetings. Users are also able to use the adjoining central space, free of charge.
“We really couldn’t ask for more,” said Clive Gumbrell of Adoption Matters. “It’s an excellent venue and such helpful staff. The evening from our point of view was a real success.”
“We had a lovely time” said Marcella Meehan of the National Deaf Children’s Society; “The venue was perfect, the food lovely, and the staff team were very helpful and attentive.”
