A Winter’s Trail returns to Skelton Grange Environment Centre

It’s almost time for A Winter’s Trail, your invitation to step into a magical world of light during the darkest month of the year at Skelton Grange Environment Centre in Stourton.

The trail runs after dark on Tuesday 16, Wednesday 17 and Thursday 18 December, between 4-7pm.

A Winter’s Trail is a heartwarming celebration designed for all ages, with a special charm for younger children. Wander through a candlelit trail winding through our woods and gardens, where you’ll discover an enchanting miniature illuminated village. Let your imagination roam – who might live in these tiny woodland homes?

Take your time along the trail, and as you near the end, gather around a festive campfire with a warm drink in hand, soaking in the peaceful atmosphere.

Described by visitors as magical and awe-inspiring, this beloved annual event draws families back year after year.

Created as a gentle, sensory-friendly alternative to larger winter attractions, Winter’s Trail offers a calm and intimate experience. There are no bright lights or loud music, making it especially welcoming for autistic children and their families.

Numbers are limited to preserve the tranquil setting and allow everyone space to explore.

Book your places on Eventbrite. Book your tickets soon for the best choice of dates and times as it will start to fill up!
