Staff at Cockburn Ingram Road Community School have been very busy in the run up to Christmas, wrapping presents for every child at school. With presents ranging from footballs to toy cars, every child has left school this Christmas with their very own Christmas gift.
This would not have been possible without the generous donations from Cash for Kids, Leeds Children’s Charity and Holbeck Together. Most presents are gifted by members of the public via charities.
Cockburn Ingram Road Academy Headteacher, Mrs Millington, shares her appreciation:
“I am so thankful to the charities and members of the public who have donated gifts and helped spread some Christmas joy for our children and families. Staff couldn’t wait to see the joy on the children’s faces as they receive their gifts.”
