As everyone here at South Leeds Life looks towards taking a well-earned Easter break, we thought it would be nice to put together a short list of some of the things you can look forward to over the holiday weekend. Middleton Railway is open for the full weekend – operates a Diesel Service on Saturday from 13:00 and a Steam Services on Sunday and Easter Monday from 11am. Check out the timetable here. Don’t forget, if the weather’s not snowy, check out your local park!
Easter holiday activity camp. Come down to the Hunslet Club and choose from several different things to do including sports, dance, games, cooking and arts and crafts. 8:45am – 3:00pm £8 for full day or £4 for a half day. Tuesday 10 April – Friday 13 April.
Siegen Close Residents Association Easter Bonnet parade. Siegen Day Centre, Morley, Saturday 7 April 2012, Cream teas, sandwiches and sherry will be available on the day. Easter bonnets are available for decoration from Colin Roberts by ringing 0113 253 0149. A prize will be awarded for the winner and a surprise celebrity will be judging the competition. Join in the fun and start decorating now!
