What’s On Roundup 14-20 February 2026

Here’s a roundup of some the main events taking place over the coming week in South Leeds.

We start this week in Belle Isle where Trinity Network host their Community Reflections Café on Saturday 10am-12pm at the United reformed Church, Nesfield Avenue, Belle Isle, LS10 3LG

On Sunday the Friends of Middleton Park are leading a free guided winter walk exploring some of the lesser known parts of the park. Meet at the Visitor Centre by the lake at 1pm.

This week is half term and we’ve pulled together a host of family friendly activities here.

On Wednesday evening Hunslet RLFC have organised a coaching seminar with Tony Smith and Dr Pete Holmes. It’s an interactive session and a chance to engage with one of rugby league’s top coaches on the art of coaching. Although Tony is a rugby man it works for all sports and businesses. Leeds Baby Bank will be at Dewsbury Road Community Hub & Library on Thursday 10am-12pm offering support to people to access support services, community activity and longer-term support. They also gift families an essential top-up of items like nappies, wipes, formula and toiletries.

Join Opera North for another free music concert, with free hot chocolate. Come and listen on Thursday, 12-1pm at the Penny Hill Centre, Church Street, Hunslet, LS10 2AR.

And finally, Middleton Park FC are holding a fundraising event featuring the footballing legend Neil ‘Razor’ Ruddock on Friday. Expect laughs, stories from his career, plus a fun quiz all about Razor himself. Also on the bill will be local comedian April Louise, plus auctions and raffles. It all takes place at Belle Isle Working Men’s Club (LS10 3PE) from 7pm. Book tickets at bit.ly/MiddPkRazor.
