Outer South Community Committee agenda published

The agenda for the next meeting of the Outer South Community Committee, made up of Councillors for Middleton Park ward, plus Ardsley & Robin Hood, Morley North, Morley South and Rothwell wards, has been published.

The meeting, which is open to the public, is taking place at Leeds Civic Hall, LS1 1UR on Monday 29 September 2025 starting at 4pm. The meeting will also be livestreamed and then available to watch on YouTube.

The meeting starts with an Open Forum, this is an opportunity for members of the public to ask questions or raise issues directly with their Councillors. You do not have to submit them in advance, you can just turn up and speak.

The committee is also responsible some Council functions in the area such as street cleaning and youth services; and it manages a well-being budget that funds large and small projects and the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) Neighbourhood Fund.

Changes to the Community Committee structure and the council’s move to a new finance IT system has delayed the provision of complete budget information, but an up to date statement is promised as a ‘late item’ in time for the meeting.

You can read the full report pack and link to the livestream on the Leeds City Council website here. The following items are included in the agenda:

  1. Appeals Against Refusal of Inspection of Documents
  2. Exempt Information – Possible Exclusion of the Press and Public
  3. Late Items
  4. Declaration of Interests
  5. Apologies for Absence
