On Wednesday (11 October 2023) Fay Kesby, a Community Connection Coordinator with the RNIB (Royal National Institute of Blind People) visited Middleton Elderly Aid and spoke to me and other members.
Fay said:
“We want you to use RNIB Services, support and products, but we also know how important it is to keep people connected.
“To support each other, offer peer support and share information in person, over the phone and online.
“To connect with the wider community for sport, leisure, volunteering and social opportunities.”
