A new JD store is all set to open in Leeds on Saturday (16 July 2022) and there are prizes to be won in the form of two £100 gift cards!
Shoppers can test their skills at the King of Trainers’ new site which opens at Crown Point Shopping Park by playing ‘Ballnado’ – a wind tunnel box that the player steps inside and has 30 seconds to catch as many balls as possible – with those who catch the most receiving a £100 JD gift card to spend in-store.
Stocked up are all the biggest sports fashion brands across clothing, footwear and accessories, including the latest drops from brands such as Nike, Adidas, and The North Face and many more, in men’s, women’s and kids’.
In addition, a DJ will be playing all the freshest tunes over the weekend to add to the opening vibe.
A spokesperson for JD Leeds Crown Point said:
“A lot of people have seen the new JD store posters and are very excited for the opening. We will also have a lot of new products coming into this store so watch this space!”
Furthermore, over 40 new jobs have been created at the 6,400 square feet unit, with full and part-time sales assistant roles still available.

Crown Point is JD’s sixth offering in Leeds, in addition to existing locations at White Rose, Briggate, Thorpe Park, Kirkstall Bridge, and Seacroft.
The store will be open from 9am-8pm Monday through Friday, 9am-7pm on Saturdays, and 10:30am (trading starts at 11am) to 5pm on Sundays.
